On 16 October 2026 the median lowest nightly rate across 135 properties with live prices was $26. Hostel beds started from about $9, and resorts ranged from $20 to $243 a night. Prices are highest from December to March.

Rooms cost more than on mainland Krabi for the same quality, because everything has to arrive by boat. There are still plenty of rooms under $30, especially in Tonsai Village. See our cheap hotels list.

There are no cars on Koh Phi Phi Don. Hotels in Tonsai Village and Loh Dalum are a short walk from Tonsai Pier, and porters with carts can carry bags for a fee. Resorts at Long Beach, Loh Bagao and Laem Tong usually arrange a longtail or speedboat transfer, so book it in advance. Visitors pay a small island entry fee at the pier.

Most travellers stay two to four nights. That is enough time for a Phi Phi Leh and Maya Bay boat trip, the viewpoint hike, a snorkelling day and some beach time.
